Follow this 5-step guide to configure your Rayo SMS account and send your first text message from the web dashboard.

  1. Create and Confirm Your Account

Register on the Sign Up page, choose your Default Sending-To Country (e.g., Greece), and click the confirmation link sent to your email address. See Creating & Accessing Your Account.

  2. Submit Your Company Details

Go to Advanced → Company Details in the top navigation bar, enter your business and VAT information, and click Submit. Our team reviews submissions within 24 hours. See Company & Tax Details.

  3. Create a Sender Identifier (Sender ID)

Before sending an SMS, you need at least one active and confirmed Sender Identifier:

    • In the left sidebar, click Sender Ids → New Sender Identifier.
    • Option A — Alphanumeric Label (Fastest): Enter your brand name using up to 11 Latin characters (e.g., MYBRAND or MY-SHOP) and click Create. Alphanumeric labels are confirmed immediately.
    • Option B — Mobile Number: Enter your mobile number (e.g., 306972669700), click Create, and enter the 5-digit confirmation code sent to your phone within 15 minutes. See Managing Sender IDs.
  4. Top Up Credits (or Use Simulation Mode)

    • To send a real SMS to a handset, click Credits → Order Credits in the left sidebar and purchase credits via Online Purchase with Card, Bank Deposit, or Purchase With Credit.
    • To test the workflow without spending any credits, you can enable the Simulation (Message Will not Be Sent Out) checkbox in the next step!
  5. Send Your First SMS & Check Delivery Status

    • Click Send in the left sidebar (/messages/new).
    • Select your Sender Identifier from the dropdown.
    • In To Mobile Numbers, enter your mobile number (e.g., +306972669766 or 6972669766).
    • In Message, type your text and watch the live Number Of Characters and Number Of Credits counters update below the box.
    • Click Send and confirm the dialog.
    • Click Sent in the left sidebar (/messages) to watch your message transition from New → Sent Out → Delivered!
